Join Your Ghoul Squad for Witches Eve

Prepare for a gaggle of witches to descend upon Downtown Lee’s Summit during this hallowed annual tradition on Thursday, October 7th. Witches Eve is a chance to dress up and enjoy a wicked night out with friends, so if you’ve got it, haunt it! Twenty-three businesses will be open late from 5-8 p.m. for shoppers to enjoy a wicked good time filled with plenty of cackles and “boo’s.”

Witches Eve is the perfect time to stock up on seasonal home décor and enjoy a fall sip. Everything from light up porcelain ghosts to harvest floral wreaths can be found at Very Violet Boutique, where lucky shoppers can also search for gift cards hidden throughout the store. Newcomers to downtown, Native Help Co., will offer CBD infused treats and Llywelyn’s Pub is pouring haunted brews and cocktails too. Shreddlicious will offer a witches smoothie. Specialty spice shop, Flavor, promises a night filled with spooky surprises, bloody marys, and spiked cider.

Attendees are encouraged to don a witch hat to get into the spirit of the event. “My favorite part about Witches Eve is the elaborate costumes. I love to see people get creative and have fun with it,” said Barb Keller, owner of All A’Bloom Flowers & Gifts. Don’t forget to complete your outfit with a mask, as shoppers are expected to adhere to the Jackson County mask mandate during the event.
