Emerald Isle Parade will return in 2022

As large community events continue to pose a high risk to public health, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street will not host the Emerald Isle Parade, scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2021. Traditionally, thousands gather to celebrate in Downtown Lee’s Summit on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day. Sitting out another year is the best way to keep our community safe. “We look forward to celebrating with you in 2022,” shared parade chair Nick Parker. The Strother District’s annual Emerald Isle Pub Crawl will not take place on March 13th. Follow the Strother District Facebook page for updates on their events, and an alternate date to attend the pub crawl later this year.
