Downtown Visioning Project

This Fall, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street has partnered with Drury University’s Center for Community Studies at the Hammons School of Architecture to help create an updated vision for Downtown Lee’s Summit.

This collaborative process between DLSMS and the University will develop and test conceptual ideas for downtown redevelopment and community connectivity. Possible topics to explore include opportunities for alley enhancements, public parking, gateways into downtown and public art.

Prior to the initial community workshop, the students will review previous plans and studies and conduct research on Downtown Lee’s Summit.

The success of this process is only possible with strong engagement and participation from our local community. Please make plans to attend and participate in each of these three public meetings.
