Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market Opening Wednesday Market on Wednesday, July 8

The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market will re-open the Wednesday Market starting Wednesday, July 8 at 8 am. The Wednesday Market will operate in the farmers market lot at Second and Douglas Streets in Downtown Lee’s Summit. The Saturday Market will continue to operate at Abundant Life Baptist Church at 304 SW Persels Rd.

The Wednesday Market will be a walk-up market, providing a safe, open-air, low contact way to access locally grown foods. The farmers market will not be a social gathering place – all activities and entertainment have been cancelled and only service animals will be allowed. Hand sanitizer stations will be provided at each entrance and customers are encouraged to social distance a minimum of 6 feet. Masks are required. Customers should make a shopping list and shop solo when possible. Pre-order and additional information is available on the Farmers Market website, www.downtownls.org/market.

The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market is presented by Saint Luke’s East Hospital and sponsored by Bridge Space, Central Bank of the Midwest, Integrity Roofing, Midwest Property Resources, and Security Bank of Kansas City.
