2025 Downtown Days Festival opens June 6-7-8
Start your summer with the FREE Downtown Days Festival, presented by Lee's Summit Medical Center, Friday through Sunday, June 6, 7, & 8. Festivities include free live entertainment, carnival rides, festival food, handcrafted goods, two beer tents and so much more!

Hundreds of volunteers bring the festival to life each summer to support Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Lee’s Summit. Join in the fun by signing up to volunteer at downtowndays.org
CARNIVAL ATTRACTIONS
Thrill seekers of all ages will want to make their way to the Carnival ticket booth, located next to the iconic Ferris wheel on the west side of the train tracks. On Friday and Saturday, tickets will be sold until 9 p.m. and can be redeemed to ride individual rides until 9:30 p.m. Attendees can ride unlimited rides exclusively on Sunday, June 8th until 5 p.m. with the purchase of a $25 wristband.
KIDS STREET
Little tikes will love exploring Kids Street, located on Douglas Street north of 3rd Street, brought to you by Summit Play Village. Enjoy games, face painting, shaved ice, and plenty of family-friendly activities. Visit with local legends and mascots at the Sports Booth, sponsored by Sporting KC.
FREE LIVE MUSIC
You'll be thinking Whata-Lineup when you see the free live entertainment sponsored by Whataburger. Fans of The White Stripes are going to go berserk for Womanish Girl, a local blues rock duo fronted by guitar virtuoso Katy Guillen. Dust off your blue jean jacket, and sing along with Thunder Road: a Tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. Madisen Ward will make his triumphant return to Downtown Days to headline the festival Saturday night at 8 p.m. Madisen Ward has captivated audiences nationwide with his powerful voice and soulful songwriting, which draws inspiration from folk, RnB & Americana influences.

BEER TENTS
Downtown Days will feature two beer tents: one located next to the Main Stage, and one at the corner of 3rd and Douglas streets. Fan-favorite beer options from County Beverage Company will include Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, Corona, and New Belgium Voodoo Ranger IPA. It’s prime time for a fruity summer crusher, and the Bud Light Flavor Burst seltzers are sure to make a splash. Keep your drink cool with a koozie courtesy of Dog Training Elite.
PARKING
Guests can park in the free City Hall parking garage at the corner of 2nd and Green streets, and any public parking lots around the perimeter of the festival.
In addition to the festival attractions, Downtown Lee’s Summit is also home to over 100 locally-owned shops and restaurants. Not only are these local businesses the heart of our community, they are one of the many reasons the National Trust for Historic Preservation recognized Downtown Lee’s Summit as a Great American Main Street.
