Join us for a very special reading by William Trowbridge, Lee’s Summit resident and Missouri’s Poet Laureate. This event is made possible by a grant from the Lee’s Summit Arts Council and free to attend. Copies of Mr. Trowbridge’s work will be available for purchase. The poetry reading is part of the Fourth Fridays Initiative. Yoga in the Streets September

Yoga in the Streets is from 1 p.m.  to 2:15 p.m. Sunday, August 30, at City Hall Plaza in Downtown Lee’s Summit. Popular yoga instructor Debra O’Bryan of Joyful Breath Yoga will guide the hatha yoga practice, which is for all ages and all ability levels. The event is free; No reservations are needed. Just show up with a yoga mat and a fun attitude!
