FREE Friday Night Summer Concerts Continue Until Labor Day Weekend

Come see how local stars shine at sundown during the Music in the Park summer concert series. Bring the whole family, along with your blankets or lawn chairs, and enjoy performances by local musicians. The Music in the Park summer concerts are brought to you by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, Inc., in partnership with Bank of Lee’s Summit.
The concerts are free to the public and are held in Howard Station Park between 2nd & 3rd Streets on SE Main. Music begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. The public is encouraged to listen to music, walk around downtown, and visit downtown shops and restaurants. Plenty of shade offers a cool way to enjoy these fantastic local musicians and performers. Only 5 more free Music in the Park performances are scheduled for this summer.*

New Planters Add Life to Downtown Intersection
The Lee’s Summit Beautification Commission has installed new flower planters at the 3rd & Douglas intersection in Downtown Lee’s Summit! Three different sized planters contain a variety of plants, including canna lilies, purple fountain grass, black-eyed susan, blue plumbago and sweet potato vine.
If you haven’t been to Downtown Lee’s Summit in awhile, come see what you’re missing! New stores and restaurants, and beautiful touches like these flower planters, make downtown Lee’s Summit a great place to visit this summer.
